California has not previously been a font of yard art finds. Probably due to Life's Highway lack of a California field report, nevertheless I stumbled upon a naturally gifted spotter who spent the day shopping at the Alameda Flea Market. Lorri of I.a.s Fibers and agreed to share one of her finds:
Wow, I did go to her listing of the things she didn't buy and looked at some of the other stuff from the flea market. Wow!!! How fun and interesting. I do not think she made the right decision, though, leaving that bunny on a stick behind.
Hi lasfibers here: I did think the flying golden woman was a hood ornament and it seems CTWD confirms that. What I want to share is a friend of mine was very disappointed that I did not buy that for her to use as a prop to hang necklaces from in her vendor booth. You just never know what use these items can be of huh?!!
Wow. I have always wanted a naked bronze woman. Who flies. With very pointy boobies. Uh, yeah. What the heck?
ReplyDeleteI knew that about you, eventer79 but now everyone else knows, too.
ReplyDeleteI want to get that for my room.
ReplyDeleteOn an unrelated note: the snow is almost gone. Time for me to sally forth with my camera.
"I must be dreaming.."
ReplyDeleteDude, my parents OWNED those flying wall ducks!! They were in our hallway throughout my entire childhood! Scary!
ReplyDeleteUm, just curious; is naked bronze woman a hood ornament? (Can you imagine?)

ReplyDeleteI suspect the shiny endowed lady was a hood ornament but I suspect she will have a second carrier in someones yard or Al Penwasser's bed room.
ReplyDeleteShe had some great finds, it would have been a perfect day for buying Christmas presents for my field reporters.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the info, CTWD. So not only is a flying naked woman with pointy boobies but was a functional (sort of) woman with pointy boobies.
