As I have said before, we have wonderful photographers who are Life's Highway field reports both amateur and professional. Also, let me state for the record: I am not one of them. I pretty much just click and hope for the best. On the scale of skill place me with a monkey and a camera phone. We would get similar results. Therefore, I am all kinds of impressed with MyMaracas and her mad skills:
Wow, I don't even know what burst mode is...I rely one the "poking hubby in the arm to stop" methodWe were moving a little fast for this one, so I set the camera for burst mode and snapped away as we drove by. It takes all three shots to see everything. The Hubby is up for going out of our way to let me shoot a Yard Art entry, but he draws the line at parking in front of the house. ;-)
so how fast is The Hubby driving, will he permit a slow down
a creeping down to 10 miles per hours
Or are you booking along at 35...

Perhaps the ducks were traveling to the lemonade stand...
and they waddled away....

I do love a good duck joke. LOL
ReplyDeleteBurst mode isn't anything fancy. It's just the setting that keeps snapping pictures quickly for as long as you keep your finger on the shutter button.
On my camera (Canon G9) it's the "continuous shooting" function. You'd need to check your own camera's instruction book to see how to set yours.
It comes in handy for drive-by shooting because it will take a dozen or so rapid-fire shots as you pass by and you can pick the best ones later.
As for hubby's speed, he'll slow to about 25 but that's it. ;-)
Thanks for putting up my entry and for the points!
MyMaracas, 25 is pretty fast when you are trying to take pictures so I remain very impressed.
ReplyDeleteI like a good duck joke, too.
