Traveling Yard Art

The following submission is without a doubt my favorite so far this year. I understand not everyone gets my humor even my hubby sometimes gives me the speculative puzzling look when once again I lose it over life's absurdities. But think about this, all the players were in place for this one moment in time and a Life's Highway field reporter was there to capture its stunning awesomeness.

Lauren comments and submits:

Yard art on a parade float: wild animal decoys and taxidermy representing the peaceful coexistence with one another in the faux ficus tree forest. Oh, and an otter pelt. Yeah his coexistence wasn't so peaceful. (Win this playhouse! Child hanging out window and random man with glasses not included)

Dang it, but the geek man is the best part of the display

No score because this structure was constructed for one day of use and not a true reflection of a home owner's odd whims.

Nevertheless, Manatee approved for creativity: 4 points

Manatee feels at peace with nature and her plastic trees but no stuffing, please.

  1. Geekman to the rescue! He's the brave protector of all yard art. That must be his noble pose!

I'm glad to be back on line. My computer had "issues" and had to go to the hospital. The issues started on the Saturday night of a long holiday. Sigh.

  2. I shudder to think of a weekend without my PC. That is how geeky and hopeless I am.

  3. I think he's pretty cute. That is a noble pose, isn't it? And that's like 3 pts. for the glasses alone!

  4. And that dude, seems to have a horned head growing on the side of his superb spectacles.

  5. I'm so attached to my computer, my friends teased me about having withdrawl symptoms. I think they were right!
