Give Away to Launch Our New Fancy Blog Address

In my journey to find the greatest and most awe inspiring works of yard art I have discovered a fatal flaw. I have always had this flaw but I did not think it would spill over into the game.

Here is it: I am easily amused by shiny sparkling things. Think on this: why the manatee because she is golden! Why the disco balls of bravery because they are shiny and reflect light. It is only fitting that to launch my new address: www.theyardartgame.com, I share my love of the sparkly with you.

I received my shipment of the Solar Glo Stix:

As you can see there are two of them. The bubbles don't bubble :( They are set in the plastic but other than that they live up to their advertised awesomeness. There are two and you can have the other. Sorry I had to keep one. All you have to do it comment during this week. I will draw from the names of all who commented on Monday, August 2. It is that easy, you have a week to get around and say something. Good luck.

Don't believe the wonderful-ness? Watch my inspiring video... better get a hanky...

  3. I need one that is in the shape of a flamingo. I live in the sticks so I need something that screams red neck. But I like this one too it will bring hours of enjoyment with us sitting on our porch at night staring at it.

  4. ooooh Amy, if I could find a glow in the dark color changing Flamingo... you would be the first to know.

  5. Wow! Since I'm an apartment dweller, I think if I win I'll have to bequeath it to Diane for her yard! Or maybe not. Emma the cat would enjoy it...

  6. Must. Have. The. Light. Saber. It will annoy the crap out my neighbor when I get back to WI, here it would probably just get stolen and put into some massive redneck yard art collection and never noticed.

  7. I want one!!! Nothing screams "country bumpkin moves to the big city with all her yard art" better than this multicolor light up the night saber.

P.S. I need bumper stickers - 500 miles round trip moving all my hillbilly stuff on the interstate will get lots of hits to the new site.

  9. Tufa Girl, what do you plan to do, slam the bumper stickers on unsuspecting random cars at rest stops?

klahanie, that you for the great honor. I will visit the other blogs on your list when it is too hot to move tomorrow.

  10. Dad needs to have one. He does not have any bright shiny toys, only dark dangerous ones.

  13. Awesome light sabers. I wonder if I could attach it to my car? I'd have the Star War's Jedi Mobile! Unfortunately, the kid next door would probably filch it.

  14. I would be concerned of the car wrecks at night. On coming traffic may be mesmerized.

  15. It's entirely possible NASA can see the light sabers from space. If photos were leaked, a UFO scandal could erupt causing terror and divine awe. It could be the start of a new religion! The Great Glowing Light Saber religion. I can hear the music from 2001: A Space Odyssey now.

  16. Oh OH, maybe I should make another stirring video with the space odyssey sound track.

  17. Owww, awwww..... I believe the female garden gnomes will use this for their version of pole dancing. Imagine...it would add a whole new level excitement.
