"I really don't know what to say but this yard has a weird kinda Christmas excess going on. And one of them is down for the count.
I spotted one gnome and maybe the head of another, but am guessing there are more behind the blow-ups and wishing well. One duck on it's side, one naked lady silhouette, a birdbath and a red cat with a spyglass. The strangest wall decoration I saw was a traffic light. I should get a point for all those blow-ups."
Oh nice negotiation skills, I like a new reporter with spunk but... no
A cast of characters for sure but also notice 2 satellite dishes and one mega antenna, I think it's a spy ring. A spy ring with Christmas blow-up cheer.
Watch out Elmo, she could poke an eye out with that thing
It is just not Christmas without Sponge Bob

I love that song....

I love the tiny tire on a rope. I think the spy cat photo would make a great December calendar page...
ReplyDeleteTufa Girl, if only someone would have mentioned a calendar...
ReplyDeleteThanks for adding my submission. If I had any courage, I would have went behind the blowups, but as you so alertly noticed, something had to be going inside this place. That huge antenna was what kept me at a safe distance across the road. I bet I could have found more gnomes. They had garden stuff stuffed in the wishing well.
ReplyDeleteWhat's with the Wizard Polar Bear?
ReplyDeleteOh, there so has to be a 2012 Calendar! So obvious yet, leave it to Tufa to come up with it. Truly a pro!
GWGT, Always a pleasure to add a submission. There is courage and then there is fool hardy. We really don't want any of our reports shot for trespassing or kept as a love slave in the basement.
ReplyDeleteLola Nova, The Polar Bear bothered me too. I like my crazy blow up stuff to match. As far as a calendar goes, how would I pick only 12 treasures? Does anyone have any suggestions?
Me oh my. It seems to be a tradition in Boulder, to go at these at night with a knife. I don't see why. :)
ReplyDeleteRosey, it seems like a BB gun would be a whole lot more fun. Perhaps a "Red Ryder BB gun with a compass in the stock, and this thing which tells time".
ReplyDeleteYou'll shoot yer eye out!
ReplyDeletea Red Ryder BB gun will not harm WT quality blow ups. A 12 guage with #7 shot on the other hand will take them down. It is sport here in South Carolina. At least that is what dad told me. The calendar idea is fabulous, the Dog has appeared in the BSR calendar and finds it exhilarating.
ReplyDeleteCTWD, thank you for that most important holiday tip. Now where is my 12 gauge.
ReplyDeleteThose blow-ups definitely look as if they're sheilding something. Taking them out might just be a matter of national security.
ReplyDeleteChrisJ, let's get on over there, bring you 12 gauge.
ReplyDeleteI love the calendar idea. How about the 12 top scoring 'reporters' as of some pre-determined date each get to choose the picture for one month? Maybe to make it fair, only points scored after a certain date would count (to allow those of us who haven't played before a shot).
ReplyDeleteMorningGlory, that is a great idea. I'll let you guys be the judge. I'll write something up at the first of the year.
ReplyDeleteI think if I saw that across the road from me, I'd be tempted to sic Emma on the blowups. She can do a lot of damage with her claws!!! Window screens, underliner of my bed, my skin - what's a little plastic?
ReplyDeleteMom L, you are right about that, nothing says damage like the claws of a cat.
ReplyDeleteI would SO buy a calendar!!!!
ReplyDeleteDon't dis Spongebob at Christmastime. He's got one of the best holiday songs. (And I find Spongebob annoying.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oNOzDpsiRQ
ReplyDeleteCraig, Ok I will admit that I am wrong because I loved the video. I mean, I think I did... I let you know an hour or so from now if the song is still stuck in my head.
ReplyDeleteOh, I didn't know we could do Christmas yards!! Gees, here in Weirdville, we've got some major score yards. I'm going out in my car......
ReplyDeleteLin, I didn't score the Christmas stuff. But if you have a great yard bring it on in.
