One: The beauty
the finest example being: The Seahorse Birdbath
and Two: The friendly neighborly atmosphere
Nothing says, welcome folks to our community, our state our WAY-OF-Life, like a nice friendly phallic fellow wishing all a heartfelt greeting of hospitality.

Welcome back! Just when Diane has decided to go on hiatus!!! I still plan to return to the south - maybe next Spring.
ReplyDeleteNancy in Iowa
Mom L, If you come this way stop by North Carolina. Or better yet I'll meet you in Savannah.
ReplyDeleteI love the south too. This Ohio weather makes me miss South Carolina.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see a SC artist put forth as heartwarming effort as our local talent.
DeleteThe only thing you are missing is a lawn jockey and a Confederate flag. ;)
ReplyDeleteso true but then you would be talking "upscale"
DeleteBahahahahhaa, I can't believe you posted that. But I did feel very "welcome" (or was it "dirty") as that gas station. I tried not to think about what that goo on the pump handles was. But here in the south, it's true, even the parking areas are excited to see you.
ReplyDeleteI know I feel welcomed. You know if you put some curly lines under it, it could be a space ship.... or more graphic...however you would want to interpret it.
